A Introduction to H.M.K. BrightXXXIV of Flistland by Peter Haakonsen

Flistland is an island north of Russia, ruled by King Brigt XXXIV, a 50 year old descendent of Brigt the 1st who discovered the cold and distant land nearly a thousand years ago. In 971 five thousand men and women from the north of Norway and Russia settled in the island they called Flistland.

The little kingdom is surrounded by ocean, and infected by cold and stormy weather. These conditions probably made it an attractive place to live because of rich amounts of fresh water and reindeer. The fact that ships were the fastest transport medium at the time Brigt the 1st discovered Flistland, helps us understand why he and his crew, and the following people, chose to settle there. In occasion of the contemporary king`s 50th anniversary, a book is on it`s way. The book contains pictures and information about his life and growth as well as some facts about Flistland and the earlier kings. Unfortunately, it has already been published in Norway. Why and how?
